Krka National Park is a beautiful park in which the Krka River flows through dozens and dozens of waterfalls of all sizes.

How to get to Krka National Park Waterfalls?
From Split, you can take a bus from the bus station to Skradin. I advise you to book your tickets in advance on the Flixbus or Getbybus website, as these can quickly fill up. The same goes for the return bus, especially outside the high season when only two buses at the end of the day make the Skradin to Split trip: 17:15 and 18:10.
You can also reach the falls by car where there is a parking lot in Skradin and another in Lozovac.

Visiting Krka National Park
From Skradin, you can buy your tickets at the agency located at the entrance to the port. These tickets will allow you to board the boat that will drop you off at the bottom of the falls and access the park. The crossing lasts about 25 minutes and is quite pleasant. For the more athletic, you will also have the option of going to the falls on foot from Skradin by taking a 3km road.
If you arrive via Lozovac (much less common if you come by bus), you will then have to take the park shuttles which will drop you off at another access point to the falls.

For the visit of the park, count about 1h30. Although fountains are provided during the walk, bring plenty of water! Especially in summer when it can be really hot!
Most of the paths are shaded. In high season, you can add a moment of swimming (supervised) to the visit, which is much appreciated after the walk.

The waterfalls are all impressive with more or less power. My favorite landscape is the one you can admire from the viewpoint just before the mill going up on the right. It is also a very pleasant area for a picnic.

In addition to the waterfalls, you can also visit the museum village which has a mill that, using the power of the falls, was used to grind grains. You can also see a power plant that is still functional.
We didn't have time to go there and the entrance ticket is more expensive but you can also take another boat that will take you to the islet of Visovac and visit the Franciscan monastery. The crossing takes about 45 minutes.
